The Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers (apdo-uk) has announced the appointment of Cherry Rudge of Rainbow Red as its new Marketing Officer.
apdo-uk was founded in 2004 with the aim of enabling people to find a local professional declutterer and organiser. Today, there are over 100 Members throughout the UK, all of whom are required to abide by a Professional Code of Ethics.
Members work with and provide a wide range of practical help, motivation and support to a vast range of clients, including people who are:
- elderly
- recently bereaved
- busy executives
- families
- downsizing
- suffering with chronic disorganisation, OCD, ADHD/ADD, anxiety & other conditions which makes being organised difficult
- working from home
- hoarders
Cherry joined apdo-uk in January 2011 - initially to find out more about the decluttering and organising profession - and then formally set up Rainbow Red in April 2011.
